I'm Sitting In The Library...

Hey, Josh again. I have a couple of minutes during English... we're in the library doing research. Some project about famous dead guys.

Anyway, I heard this morning that basketball tryouts are next week. I'm not sure if I'm going to try out this year... I've never exactly been into basketball. Dad's always wanted me to try out, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I'd never make the team.

In other news... Kyle now claims Tom Foss, our security guy, is the one who shot the mysterious missing professor from his dream. That's kind of odd, but I'm pretty sure he's making it up. Why would the murderer be hanging around our house if he thinks Kyle might recognize him?

Unless he's trying to make sure Kyle doesn't remember... In which case...

Naah. Kyle's just weird. The aliens who dropped him off here probably implanted fake memories in his brain to get him in trouble with this Tom Foss guy.

Ok, gotta go. I've gotta decide what I'm doing about this basketball thing. I mean, I'd love to play, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

He's An Alien, I Swear!

Hey, I'm Josh, and I've got an alien for a foster brother. His name's Kyle, and he's not from this planet! They found him wandering the city naked, unable to speak and without any memory of where he'd been for the past sixteen years.

A lot has happened since he came to live with us, but I'm not going to go into that. I've got my notebook full of information, and if you're lucky you'll find it on the web. I hid it somewhere so that maybe someone, somewhere, will learn the truth. But I'm going to keep this blog updated frequently instead of continuing my notebook, because Kyle flipped out on me yesterday.

It was raining out, so we were all stuck inside. I was telling Declan, Lori's boyfriend, about my theory, when Kyle went insane. He started yelling at me about how it shouldn't be fun for me to keep the notebook, because that's all he knows about his life, and whatever. I did feel kind of sorry for the guy, but... You know. How can I stop thinking he's an alien when it's the truth?!

Anyway, Kyle's starting to remember his past. This morning he recognized the picture of a missing professor in the paper, and said he's met the guy before. I don't know, though... it seems kind of sudden. Kyle draws these pictures by making dots with crayons, and they come out looking like photos. He drew this professor, and then he shows up in the newspaper the next morning? It's a bit creepy, if you ask me.

Wait.

Duh.

The guy knew lightning was going to hit our house a few seconds before it actually did. Why should this be any creepier than that? Or the time we found him out in the woods in the middle of the night? Or the time he got in a fight at school and was able to dodge some creep's punches like they were happening in slo-mo?

Anyway, Lori wants the computer now. She's going to talk dirty to Declan on AIM, I guess... but whatever. I'll blog again sometime soon.
